People commonly want to over-simplify and stereotype product categories, like sheet-metal. "Who makes the best metal" is an invalid question. You just can't paint it with that broad of a brush.
Even the Ford tooling got a bit tired at the end of their lives, and the resultant products had to be adjusted to fit. Frankly, a lot of Mustang sheet metal got assembly line adjustments as the cars were built. That's why body shops make the big bucks. Yes, Dynacorn has "control" over some specific toolings/products overseas, and for those items, we source to Dynacorn. They are a longstanding and trusted vendor. But for items we can go direct on, for the same or better quality, obviously we go direct. But there's so much damn misinformation that slings around the internet regarding imported . Did some research beforehand and CJs sells a Dynacorn branded one for 348.00 roughly. NPD sells Golden Legion for 454.00 roughly. Both have thicker metal with the brace in it. Sounds like the same door to me but I went ahead and bought the more expensive NPD one. It showed up in a Dynacorn box. I know Dynacorn doesn't make anything. CJ's parts are Dynacorn (called and asked) and the local guys are SD's. The local guy can have the parts the next day because the warehouse is in town (very nice perk). CJ's said it will take 1-2 weeks for the parts to be delivered to my door. Also seen various inner and outer wheel houses that have to be made to work. On the quarter panel bracket end pieces with trunk corners, the Dynacorn fit better than the not Dynacorn. The Dynacorn radiator support with cross member fit really well for me also. Confusing bunch of mess isn't it.
