One of the circuit boards in the PDJB (Fuse Box-Interior) needs to be replaced. We ordered the CJB from a local dealership, 2 and some change. The port for the fuel pump connector has a bit of plastic in the guide, you can see it in pic #2 posted here. We assumed this was an updated part, or bad casting. We exchanged the old/new one for another new one, only to find the same casting issue.

It communicated to the cluster module when a door was opened. The cluster module lit a "door ajar" light in the cluster(if you had this feature) along with controlling a "battery saver" relay and also a "accessory delay" relay in the fuse box.
Very quick job, used 5/16 drill bit.

We have a 2004 Freestar (3.9) that has some issues, including 1 with the power door locks, that point to the problem being with the SJB. You have 2 junction boxes, the battery junction box which is located under the hood on the driver's side near the brake master cylinder, and the central junction box which is located under the driver's side of the dash.
